Non-PII does not identify you as an individual. When you use our website, it collects the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer, the IP address of your Internet Service Provider, the date and time you access our website, the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our website, the operating system you are using, the internet browser you are using, the sections of the website you visit, the website pages read and images viewed, and the content you download from the website. This information is used for website and system administration purposes and to improve our website.


We and the third parties we authorize may receive and store certain types of non-PII whenever you interact with us by using “cookies,” “web beacons” and analogous technology. “Cookies” are small files that are placed on your computer or your internet browser memory to enable the owner of the cookie to recognize your browser and to provide convenience and other features to you. It is important to note that the cookies that we use, or permit others to use, do not contain and are not tied to PII about you.

Our website may contain links to other websites or Internet resources which are provided solely for your convenience and information. We may disclose PII and Non-PII to:

our third party service providers who perform functions on our behalf in connection with the operation of the website, e.g., providers who host and manage data, process credit card orders, deliver our merchandise, etc.; participating sponsors to a program or promotion you enter through our website; our parent company, subsidiaries or other affiliated companies (“affiliated companies”) for operational, marketing and promotional purposes; promotional partners and others with whom we have marketing or other relationships; and our other users where you choose to publicly post reviews, comments or other information relating to products or services, communicate with other users via public forums (e.g., forums, message boards, bulletin boards, etc.). In addition, we use non-PII to help analyze site traffic, understand customer needs and trends, and carry out targeted promotional activities (see “Preference Based Advertising” above). We may use your non-PII by itself or aggregate it with information we have obtained from others to produce research reports and other information and data about online shopping for participating merchants and other customers, as well as media and other interested parties.


We maintain appropriate and commercially reasonable administrative, technical, personnel and physical measures in order to protect your personal information. Unfortunately, however, since the internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. We cannot guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. ShopYourLikes Referral Program Terms

We may, from time to time, offer you the opportunity to earn referral reward bonuses (“Bonus”) by referring people you know to ShopYourLikes (sometimes referred to here as “SYL”). The following terms apply to your participation in the ShopYourLikes Referral Program (“Referral Program”).

The people referred to below are you (a “Qualified User”), and the person you have referred (a “Referred User”). By participating in the Referral Program, you both agree to comply with these ShopYourLikes Referral Program Terms (“Referral Terms”). If you do not agree with the Referral Terms in their entirety you may not participate in the Referral Program. The capitalized terms used in these Referral Terms that are not defined below have the meanings ascribed to them in the ShopYourLikes Publisher Program Terms and Conditions (“Publisher Terms”)

1. Definitions

Eligible Referral: a referral qualifies as an Eligible Referral if all of the following conditions are met:

The Referred User:

a) does not have any other SYL accounts (whether they are active, expired, or canceled, for any reason);

b) cannot have the same IP address as the Qualified User, or of any other current or former SYL account holder, when they sign up for a Referred Account;

c) is over 18 and cannot be an employee of Connexity or its affiliates; and

d) has submitted an application and been determined to be eligible to participate in the Referral Program, per these Referral Terms and applicable Publisher Terms.

The Referred Account:

a) is created with a Qualified User’s Referral Code; and

b) must be operated by the Referred User personally and not on behalf of a company or person associated with any other SYL account (whether they are active, expired, or canceled for any reason).

Qualified User: an existing SYL account holder who may earn a maximum of $1000 via the Referral Program provided this person has an active SYL account that is in good standing, is not a current or former employee of Connexity or any of its affiliates and has not shared their Referral Code by posting it on a “coupon site” or similar.

Referral Code: a unique code issued to existing SYL account holders that may be shared with others to refer them to sign up for a SYL account.

Referred Account: a new SYL account created with the Referral Code shared by a Qualified User.

Referred User: someone who’s been referred to SYL by a Qualified User. You become a Referred User by using the referral code of a Qualified User to register for a Referred Account.

2. Referral Program Overview

To be eligible to earn in the Referral Program you must meet the following conditions:

a) You are a Qualified User and your referral is deemed an Eligible Referral in accordance with these Referral Terms;

b) You are a Referred User and you have been deemed an Eligible Referral upon your successful completion of our application review process;

c) As a Qualified User, you have accumulated at least $300 in earnings (“Minimum Earnings”) in your SYL account. You will receive a Bonus of $100 only after you have accumulated the Minimum Earnings and your Referred User has also accumulated the Minimum Earnings in their Referred Account;

d) You understand that participation in the Referral Program may require you and your Referred Users to submit personal information such as name and email address;

e) You understand and agree that participation in the Referral Program does not guarantee that you will earn any Bonuses or that you will achieve any certain results;

f) You agree that you will clearly and fully disclose your affiliation with SYL when promoting the Referral Program and comply with all laws governing your commercial activity in accordance the FTC Endorsement Guidelines.

3. Earnings and Fulfillment of Bonuses

a) Bonuses are paid in the form of an adjustment, which is a lump sum added to your earnings;

b) If you receive any Bonuses you are responsible for all applicable taxes and fees;

c) You and your Referred User will each receive a Bonus of $100 after you each have accumulated the Minimum Earnings in your SYL accounts;

d) You will receive a Bonus of $50 for any subsequent Eligible Referrals, not to exceed a total of $1000 in Bonus earnings. (Each Referred User may earn no more than $100)

4. Methods You Can Use for Referrals

a) Share on social networks

b) Email (but no spamming!)

c) Word of mouth

d) Add links on your website(s)

5. Changes to Referral Program

We reserve the right to modify or amend these Referral Terms and the methods through which Bonuses are earned. In the event we modify these terms we will notify you by posting notice of such modifications in the SYL user account section of www.shopyourlikes.com. Unless you notify us within ten (10) days of the day we post the modifications, you will be deemed to have accepted the new terms. Your continued participation in the Referral Program after the posting of modifications will signify your acceptance of the new terms.

We reserve the right to disqualify a user at any time from participation in the Referral Program if they do not comply with the Publisher Terms or Referral Terms. All information collected from a user in the Referral Program will be subject to the ShopYourLikes Privacy Policy.

6. No Fraudulent or Illegal Activity

We reserve the right to void referrals and Bonuses earned if we suspect that they were earned in a fraudulent manner, in a manner that violates these terms, or in a manner otherwise not intended by Connexity. Likewise, you agree to the following:

a) You will not participate in this Referral Program in any manner that may be considered threatening, abusive, offensive or unsportsmanlike;

b) You will not engage in any activity that may be considered fraudulent or illegal;

c) You will not, in connection with your participation in the Referral Program, engage in any activities or communications that may be considered invasive, obtrusive or may be considered spamming;

d) You will abide by all terms of use for any applicable third-party site or service you may utilize in connection with your participation in the Referral Program.

7. Our Communications with You and Your Referred Users

We may send you and any users that you refer emails about this Referral Program, including an email each time one of your Referred Users opens an account with SYL using your Referral Code.
